1 tsp Paprika (I used sweet paprika. Smoked paprika is also good)

1 tsp Chilli Powder (I used Cayenne Pepper)

1 tsp Black Pepper

1 tsp Oregano

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Garlic Powder

1 tsp Onion Powder

1 tsp Cumin

  • 500 g Chicken Breast
  • 150 g Pastina (Little pasta or noodles)
  • 2 tbsp Taco Seasoning (or homemade taco seasoning)
  • 1 tbsp Tomato Puree
  • 400 g Tinned tomatoes
  • Water
  • 2 Carrots (Chopped)
  • 3 Celery Sticks (Chopped

How to make chicken breast and noodles in the slow cooker

This is a great recipe when you’re in a hurry. I did this very quickly, it took me about 10 minutes to cut the chicken and put everything together, which gives you more time to do other stuff!

Here’s what you need to do:

  • Chop the chicken into small pieces and place it in a bowl.
  • Add the taco seasoning and mix through until fully coated. Add the chicken to the slow cooker. Add the tomato puree, carrots, celery, pastina and tinned tomatoes and some water to loosen it and enough so the pasta can cook.
  • Put on low heat and cook for 5-6 hours. Simple!

How to store leftovers

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in place in the fridge for up to 3 days. Alternatively, keep it in the freezer for up to 3 months.
