What to eat with sweet potato fries

There are a number of delicious options for pairing with sweet potato fries. A few possibilities include ketchup, ranch dressing, BBQ sauce, honey mustard, or dipping them in melted cheese. Another great option is to top them with shredded chicken or beef, diced tomatoes, and green onions for a complete meal. Or you can add them as a side to fish and roasted veg as I have done. It was super tasty, even my teenage son liked it!

How long do sweet potato fries take to cook in the oven?

Sweet potato fries are a delicious and healthy alternative to regular french fries. But how long do they need to cook in the oven? The answer depends on a few factors, such as the size of the sweet potatoes and the desired level of crispiness. For smaller sweet potatoes, aim for around 20 minutes. For larger sweet potatoes, you may need to cook them for closer to 30 minutes. And if you like your sweet potato fries extra crispy, you can always cook them for a few minutes longer.

My sweet potatoes were medium size, and I baked them for 30 minutes as I like them with a bit of crispiness. So next time you’re in the mood for some sweet potato fries, remember to check the oven timer, so you don’t end up with burnt or undercooked fries.
