Loaded Chips Ingredients

  • 300 g Frozen fries or prepare your own.
  • 4 Rashers of Bacon
  • 70 g Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 Spring Onions
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Red Pepper
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Paprika
  • ½ tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • ½ tsp Oregano
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder

How to make your own loaded fries (dirty fries) from scratch

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (gas mark 4, 350°F) 
  • Coat the oven fries with oil and add the seasoning before placing them on a roasting tray. Sprinkle on some salt, then add more if desired! Toss everything around until all of your spices are evenly distributed throughout each chip.
  • Transfer to the oven-proof dish and cook for 25 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, chop the bacon, onion, red pepper and spring onion into small pieces. Add some oil to a frying pan and fry the ingredients except the spring onions until the onions are soft and the bacon is crispy.
  • Remove the fries from the oven, add the stir-fried mixture, and mix through. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top, followed by the chopped onions. Place back in the oven until the cheese has melted.
