Ingredients for Prawn Marie Rose Sandwich Filling
- 150 g Ready Cooked Prawns (Frozen)
- 4 Slices of Bread
- 8 tbsp Mayonnaise (Full or Half Fat)
- 1 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
- Splash of Tabasco Sauce (or Worcestershire Sauce or both)
- Paprika (Pinch)
- Salt and Pepper (to season)
- Lemon juice (A squeeze of) Just a small amount of juice.
Simple Prawn Sandwich Like Shop Bought
- Make sure the pawns are fully thawed, rinse, then dry with a paper towel and set aside in a bowl.
- Add the mayo, ketchup, tabasco, lemon juice, paprika, salt and pepper to a bowl and mix until everything is combined.
- Butter the slices of bread. Add some of the marie sauce to the prawns and mix until the prawns are coated. Add more sauce if you need it.
- Add the prawn mixture to the bread and spread out evenly. Sandwich together with a slice of bread and serve.
