How do you make a crumble, not soggy?
If you follow this recipe, your crumble shouldn’t be soggy, but here are a few suggestions to help if it is.
One way to make sure your crumble doesn’t get soggy is to use a topping that will help it stay crispy, like crumbled-up granola or chopped nuts. You can also cook the crumble for a little longer if you want it to be extra crunchy.
What is the best way to store leftover crumble?
If you have any leftover crumble, it’s best to store it in an airtight container in the fridge. It will keep for up to 3 days. You can also freeze leftover crumble for up to 3 months.

Serving suggestions
Apple and pear crumble is a classic dessert that can be enjoyed any time of day. The combination of sweet fruit and crispy topping is delicious on its own, but it’s even better when served with ice cream, cream, or custard.
If you’re looking for a healthy breakfast option, apple and pear crumble goes well with plain greek yoghurt. The yoghurt helps to balance out the sweetness of the fruit, making it a perfect start to your day.
