How Do You Make Air Fryer Soy Sauce Chicken Breast?
Marinate chicken breasts in a mixture of soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and black pepper. Heat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F) and cook the chicken for about 15-18 minutes, no flipping needed. The result is juicy and tasty chicken.
Ingredients
For four servings you will need:
- 6 Chicken Breasts
- 1 Green Bell Pepper
- 4 Celery sticks
- 2 Onions
- 4 Cloves of Garlic
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
Chicken Marinade
- 1 tbsp Ground Ginger
- 1 tsp 1 tsp Garlic Powder (granules)
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce (or Tamari Sauce)
- 2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Salt
Oyster Sauce For Air Fried Chicken
- 4 tbsp Oyster Sauce
- 4 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 4 tbsp Vinegar
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 2 tbsp Sesame Oil
- 2 tbsp Chilli Sauce (or chili powder)
Instructions For Chicken With Oyster Sauce
Mix together the chicken marinade ingredients in a small bowl then add the mixture to the chicken breasts until fully covered. Leave to marinade for at least 15 minutes.
Add the chicken to the air fryer and cook for 15-17 minutes at 180℃. Check with a meat probe in the thickest part of the meat to see if it is cooked through. It should be 74℃. Cut into small pieces.
Meanwhile in a frying pan, heat the oil at medium to high heat and fry the onions and garlic for 2 minutes. Add the peppers and celery and cook for another minute or two.
Add the chicken pieces along with the sauce and heat through until hot. Serve with a bed of rice or noodles.
