- Bring to the boil and stir continuously for 10 – 15 minutes. Take off the heat and leave to cool for 5 minutes.
- Add the vanilla extract and beat the mixture until it loses its shine. This takes up to 10 minutes.
- Press into a prepared tin, and spread evenly with the back of a spoon. Leave to set in the fridge for about 2 hours before cutting into squares.
