Served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or hot custard, this plum cobbler is the epitome of dessert perfection.

Top Tips
Choose ripe plums: The flavor of your cobbler largely depends on the quality of your plums. Choose ripe but firm plums for the best taste.
Adjust sweetness: Depending on how sweet or tart your plums are, you may need to adjust the amount of sugar in the recipe. Taste your plums before adding the sugar.
Don’t overmix the batter: When preparing the cobbler topping, mix just until the ingredients are combined. Overmixing can result in a tough rather than crumbly and light texture.
Bake until golden: Make sure to bake the cobbler until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling. This ensures that the topping is cooked through and the fruit is tender.
Let it rest: Allow the cobbler to rest for a few minutes after taking it out from the oven. This helps the juices thicken a bit.
Serve warm: For the best flavor, serve the cobbler warm. You can even top it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for extra indulgence.
