Pizza Garlic Bread Recipe

Mix the flour, yeast, garlic granules and salt in a bowl. Add the warm water with the olive oil and mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes. You can also do this in a mixer using a dough hook.

Place the dough in a clean bowl, cover it with a damp tea towel or cling film, and leave it to double in size in a warm place for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 240°C (220°C fan)/465°F/gas mark 9

Divide the dough into 2 equal round pieces.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface and transfer to greased pizza baking trays.

Garlic Butter For Garlic Pizza Bread

Crush the garlic and add to a small bowl. Add the softened butter, parsley and salt. Mix until it’s easily spreadable.

Using a tablespoon add the garlic butter on top of the dough. Spread it out with the back of the tablespoon. You may not need all of the garlic butter but make sure you spread right to the edges.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. Remove from the oven, let the garlic butter sink into the bread before slicing.
