How to make flatbreads for curry

These coconut milk flatbreads are so easy to make. Add the flour to your bowl with a pinch of salt. Add the coconut milk and mix until it forms a soft dough. Transfer to a floured surface and divide into eight pieces. Roll each piece into a ball then flatten with your hand, and press with your fingertips for a rippled effect.

Add the oil and butter to the frying pan on medium heat and add the flatbreads one batch at a time. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side.

flatbreads for curry

What goes with coconut flatbreads?

These flatbreads go great with any type of curries, such as Easy And Super Tasty Vegetarian Rogan Josh Curry, or lamb keema curry, but you can also have them with soups.

Celery soup would be a good combination. Have them with salads or just eat them on their own.

Another one is a dipping sauce. You can use a tzatziki sauce, a hummus, or even a ranch dressing. Another option is to top the flatbread with some vegetables or meats. This can be anything from grilled chicken to roasted vegetables. They would even go with Easy Pollock With Tomato And Green Lentils.

How to store flatbreads

To store flatbreads, you will need to wrap them tightly in plastic wrap or aluminium foil. You can then store them in the refrigerator for up to one week. If you want to freeze your flatbreads, you will need to wrap them tightly in plastic wrap or aluminium foil and then place them in a freezer bag. They will stay fresh in the freezer for up to three months.
