How to make chilli turkey mince meat
Turkey mince ideas
Turkey mince is a versatile ingredient that can be used in a variety of dishes ranging from burgers to meatballs to casseroles. It is a lean protein source that is lower in fat than beef mince and can help balance out the flavours in dishes where other, stronger flavours like spices or sauces are used.
One idea for using turkey mince is to make turkey lettuce wraps, using crisp lettuce leaves as an alternative to noodles, pasta and taco shells and seasoning the meat with Asian-inspired flavours like the ones in this recipe. Other popular ideas for turkey mince include using it in pasta sauces or as a base for chilli. Whatever the dish, turkey mince is a nutritious and tasty ingredient that can be a great addition to any meal.
Storage for cooked turkey mince
Once cooked, store in an air-tight container and place in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. You can also freeze the turkey mince for up to 2 months.
