  • 4 tbsp Brandy
  • 90 g Meringues (Coarsely crushed) Buy them or make your own basic meringues
  • 500 g Chopped Strawberries
  • Strawberry halves (to decorate)
  • Mint leaves (to decorate)

How to make Eton mess with ready made meringue

STEP 1: Whip the cream with the brandy until it just holds its shape. Fold in the crushed meringues and chopped strawberries.

STEP 2: Spoon the mixture into 6 glass serving bowls, cover, and chill for about 20 minutes or until firm.

STEP 3: Add the strawberry halves and mint leaves over the desserts just before serving.
