How to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit formula
If you’ve ever been in the kitchen trying to figure out oven temperature conversion from Celsius to Fahrenheit, you will find that it can be a bit tricky. Luckily, there is an equation formula to help with this task and make converting temperatures easier.
The formula for conversion involves dividing by five, multiplying by 9 then adding 32.
EXAMPLE: 200° Celsius / 9 = 40 x 9=360 + 32 = 392° Fahrenheit. You would round it up to the nearest hundred, so it would be 400° degrees Fahrenheit.
How to convert Fahrenheit to Celsius formula
This formula for conversion involves deducting 32, then multiplying by 5, and then dividing by 9.
EXAMPLE: 400° Fahrenheit – 32 x 5 / 9 = 204° Celsius. Round it up to the nearest hundred = 200°
