- 300 g Unsalted Butter
- 440 g Caster Sugar
- 4 tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 3 Eggs
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 tsp Red Food Colouring
- 267 g Plain Flour
- ¾ tsp Salt
- 4 tsp White Wine Vinegar
- 60 g White Chocolate Chips (optional)
Prevent your screen from going dark whilst making this recipe
Preheat the oven to 180°c/160°fan/356°F. Grease and fully line the brownie tins.
Melt the butter in the microwave, a few seconds at a time. Beat in the cocoa powder and sugar until no longer grainy.
Add the eggs, vanilla extract and red food colouring until the colour looks all even. Add more red food colouring if you think it needs more colour.
Gently fold in the flour and salt until there are no streaks of flour.
Finally, add in the white wine vinegar and white chocolate chips. MIx thoroughly.
Distribute the mixture evenly between the two brownie tins. Smooth the batter out to the corners and bake in the oven for 26 minutes.
