Ingredients
  

  • 2 Onion (chopped)
  • 2 Carrots (chopped)
  • 2 Celery Sticks (chopped)
  • 4 Cloves of Garlic (chopped)
  • 6 Rashers of Bacon (Chopped into small pieces)
  • 200 g Red Lentils
  • 150 g Broth Soup Mix (or potatoes/swede/turnip)
  • 3 Bay Leaves
  • 2.25 litres Chicken Stock
  • Salt and Pepper (to season)

Instructions
 

  • Chop all the vegetables and bacon and add everything to the slow cooker. Set on a high setting and cook for 4 hours. Remove the bay leaves before serving.
