How To Make Homemade Croutons

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Leftover Bread (Cut into cubes)
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tsp Italian Seasoning (or parsley)
  • 1 tsp Fine Sea Salt
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 190℃fan/210℃/375℉.
  • Add the bread cubes to a bowl and drizzle over the olive oil. Make sure all the cubes are covered. Evenly sprinkle over the seasoning, garlic powder salt and pepper. Toss until fully combined.
  • Transfer to a baking tray and spread them out to a single layer.
  • Bake in the oven until golden. Turn half way through baking. Keep an eye on them as they burn easily.
  • Remove from the oven and leave to cool. Serve with soup, or salads. Store in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze until needed.
