In a mixing bowl, add flour, cornstarch, egg white, water, and seasonings.
Mix until a thick batter forms. If the batter needs thinning out, add additional water 1 tbsp at a time.
Toss in your diced chicken and evenly coat. Let this sit while we make the sauce.
SAUCE
In a pan, add soy sauce, sesame oil, orange juice, orange zest, brown sugar, and slurry.
Simmer this on low until the sauce is nice and thick.
FRY THE CHICKEN
Add your oil into a non-stick pan, heat on high and fry your chicken for 5 - 10 minutes depending on the size of your pieces.
Remove your cooked chicken from the pan. Remove the oil and return the chicken to the chicken to the pan to crisp up then add your orange sauce. Heat through.
Serve over white rice and top with green onion.
