The Best Traditional Vanilla Fudge

- 375 g Condensed Milk
- 150 ml Milk
- 450 g Caster Sugar
- 115 g Butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Line a 20cm square tin with baking paper.
Place all the ingredients into a saucepan and mix until everything is melted over a low heat.
Bring to the boil and stir continuously for 10 - 15 minutes. Take off the heat and leave to cool for 5 minutes.
Add the vanilla extract and beat the mixture until it loses its shine. This takes up to 10 minutes.
Press into a prepared tin, and spread evenly with the back of a spoon. Leave to set in the fridge for about 2 hours before cutting into squares.
